Outdoor Learning

The children have access to the outdoor area where we develop children’s creative ideas through different role-play areas enhanced with quality play equipment. Look...... Baby Birds!!!!!!

It was a very exciting day in Ducklings class today. We have heard a few tweets from our best box over the last week and today our family of baby Blue Tits popped their heads out for the first time. The chicks also had their first go at flying as they left the nest.

The children were very interested in the chicks but showed how kind and caring they are being quiet and not getting too close to them. We read some stories about baby birds and watched a video from inside a nest box.

Term 5

Number Bonds

In Reception we have been learning our pairs of numbers which make 10; our number bonds to 10. To celebrate our hard work and number bonds to 10 amazingness we had a number bonds to 10 party this afternoon!

We played matching pairs games with rainbows and ladybirds, musical number bond pairs and number bond corners!

We also had some number bonds to 10 party food.

It was great fun and we are confident that we know our number bonds to 10.

Term 4 so far............

This term we have been doing some amazing learning, inside the classroom and outside, practising our number formation and getting creative with paint, below are some pictures of our work.
