Caretaker

We are looking to recruit a reliable, enthusiastic and efficient Caretaker to be responsible for the provision of looking after and maintaining our school premises. 

The successful candidate will play a vital role in school, having responsibility for ensuring our site is legally compliant, well maintained, safe and fit for purpose at all times. 

This is a part-time position. 

Hours of work are 25 hours per week Monday to Friday, 7.15am to 12.30pm (with a 15 minute break) all year round.   There is some flexibility in these hours.

You will be required to work in the school holidays but have a holiday entitlement of 32 days. 

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for the oversight of site security, repairs and maintenance, including all alarms, building maintenance systems and plant room equipment. 

Ideally you will have some DIY experience in a similar role or can demonstrate the capability to carry out basic maintenance and DIY tasks, and an awareness of Health and Safety.

Clerk to the Governors

The Governing Body wish to appoint an experienced administrator to fulfil the post of Clerk to Avonmouth CE Primary School Governing Body.

This will involve taking the minutes at full Governing Body meetings and committee meetings all of which are held in the afternoons & evenings as well as other administrative tasks in order to ensure the smooth running of the governing body.
